Alicia Corral (PhD) is a singer, teacher and researcher.

Alicia Corral, PhD, is a singer, teacher, researcher of the voice and traditional sacred and meditative signing. She is a certified Vedic chant teacher from Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram in Chennai, India. She’s a certified hatha yoga instructor from Svyasa University, Bangalore, and holds a degree in drama, and masters in theatre research, from the Institut del Teatre of Barcelona. From 2012 to 2018, Alicia taught movement theater at the College of Dramatic Art in Galicia, Spain and has been involved in numerous voice and body performances. She earned her Doctorate from Rey Juan Carlos University, Madrid, focusing on the therapeutic effects of voice and mantra. 

Alicia is an Associate Teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework, trained at the Royal Central School of Speech Drama, London. Her research includes intensive work with the Workcenter of Jerzy Grotowski and Thomas Richards in Pontedera, Italy, exploring Art as a Vehicle, and she regularly visits India to study Vedic chanting and Dhrupad singing. Currently, Alicia teaches, offers concets and collaborates with educational centers, musicians, and artists as a voice and singing specialist.
