SOLO CONCERTS

Meditative Vedic Chant Concert

Traditional mantras in Sanskrit will be shared from the Veda (sacred book of Hinduism, which dates back approximately 3,500 years). Songs that were revealed, “heard” by sages in a state of meditation in ancient India, transmitted orally and in their original form to this day.
The songs, traditionally sung a cappella, will be accompanied by tanpura and different sound bases.
The meaning of the songs shared will be explained , to understand the depth and purpose that each one entails.
According to tradition, the vibration of the words of these sacred songs can have a profound and positive effect on human beings. We will observe the vibratory sensations of the sounds, words and mantras of India, receiving the beneficial effects of these songs for inner balance and connection with oneself and with Life.
Those who attend will be invited to listen in a meditative position, sitting or lying down as they wish, and to chant together when invited

SOLO CONCERTS

Meditative concerts of sacred songs from around the world

Concert composed of Vedic mantras, dhrupad chanting, ślokas in Sanskrit, ancestral mantras of Western origin and other traditions. The songs will be accompanied by tanpura, śruti, tambourine and different sound bases. Ancient songs from different cultures of the world with high philosophical and vibrational content will be presented.
The objective of all these songs, since their creation, was to put attention on the purest part of the human being, to touch the heart, harmonize us on various levels, take us to a deep meditative state and find the mystery within us. All of them, across different cultures, with different names and different melodies, are aiming for the same thing.
We will observe the sensations with the different sounds and words of these high vibration songs, receiving their beneficial effects for inner balance and connection with oneself and with Life.
Those who attend will be invited to listen in a meditative position, sitting or lying down as they wish, and to sing along at some point.

There are songs
that invite us to go inside
connect with our being
with Life
On the way to touching the inner silence
on the way to touching the Great Silence

COLLABORATIONS

WITH RICARDO PASSOS

Concert of Vedic Chant and instruments of the world

This musical project is a fusion between Vedic songs recited in a traditional way and instruments from various parts of the world such as India, Brazil, Turkey, Morocco, China...
Vedic chants are traditionally recited a cappella from ancient times to the present day. Our proposal is to provide greater musicality to the songs and create a language in which the tradition of recited Vedic mantras and a transcultural musical sound can coexist.
The aim of maintaining the purity of the original Vedic chant and using rhythms and melodies from different cultures gives rise to our humble tribute dedicated to the Veda in a more musical form.
Those who attend will be invited to listen in a meditative position, sitting or lying down as they wish, and to sing along at some point.
There is an album recorded in 2022 with this project called Sparking Lights

WITH MANISH SHRESTHA

Vedic Chanting and Sarod Concert

We will listen to Vedic chanting and dhrupad singing, the oldest and most meditative musical form in India, with the accompaniment of the instrument of Indian origin called sarod. During the concert, there will be moments of listening to a cappella singing, the sarod instrument as a soloist, a dialogue between singing and sarod, even a duet singing between Alicia and Manish.
We will observe the vibratory sensations of the sounds, words and mantras of India, receiving the beneficial effects of these songs for inner balance and connection with oneself and with Life.
Those who attend will be invited to listen in a meditative position, sitting or lying down as they wish, and to sing along at some point.
